Dr. Ganshert grew up in Racine, Wisconsin.  When she was a sophomore in high school, Dr. Ganshert began working as a sterilization assistant at Dr. Kimberly Kind-Bauer’s dental practice in Racine.  It was during this period of time that Dr. Ganshert identified her own interest in the field of dentistry and took advantage of every learning experience that was presented.   The knowledge and experience gained during those formative years was advantageous to Dr. Ganshert as it prepared her for the extensive education and rigorous training that she encountered while attending Marquette University in Milwaukee.  As a freshman, Dr. Ganshert was one of ten students selected for the prestigious Pre-Dental Scholars Program.  As a part of this accelerated program, she completed her undergraduate requirements and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in three years.   She later earned her Doctor of Dental Science degree from Marquette Dental School in 1999.

After graduating from dental school, she practiced for one year at the Ganshert Dental Clinic in Monroe, Wisconsin.  With some experience under her belt, Dr. Ganshert looked to expand her patient care and transitioned to Madison, WI where she worked at Northpark Dental.  Missing the home town feel of a ‘small community’, Dr. Ganshert moved to the Sauk Prairie area in 2001 where she worked with the team at Village Family Dental Associates in Prairie du Sac. In 2005, she partnered with Dr. Konen at Downtown Family Dental of Baraboo.  In July 2014, Dr. Ganshert finalized her purchase of the practice from Dr. Konen and proudly takes on the next generation of ownership as the practice continues to progress over time.  Dr. Ganshert is proud of the exceptional patient care she delivers and is blessed to have patients that followed her with each transition in her career. (Thank You!)

Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Ganshert has made continuing education a high priority. She has completed numerous courses through the American Academy of Odontology to expand her knowledge in the field of forensic dentistry. She is also certified in laser-assisted dentistry and has attended advanced training/certification courses related CEREC (CAD/CAM) dentistry.

Current Member of: American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Sauk-Juneau-Adams Dental Society (former Treasurer), Seattle Study Club of Madison, Friends of the Campus and Friends of the Zoo.  Dr. Ganshert is also a former member of the Chicago Dental Society, Sauk County Implant Study Club (2003-2005) and Baraboo Kiwanis (2013-2015).

Dr. Ganshert resides in the Sauk Prairie area with her husband, Ryan, and their very spoiled Siamese cat, Cocoa.  Dr. Ganshert’s daughter, Madeline, is now pursuing a PhD in Biological Sciences in Boston.  In her free time, Dr. Ganshert enjoys researching destinations for future family trips, visiting the East Coast, spending time with her friends, watching Manchester City soccer games, Milwaukee Brewer games and relaxing with a good book.
